Visitor tips
When to go
- Singapore is warm year-round — pick a day forecast that has less than 40% chance of thunderstorms and you will get good outdoor time.
- The domes are quietest at 09:00–10:30 and after 17:00.
- School holidays (mid-June, all of December) push visitor numbers up sharply. Book in advance.
- Skip Chinese New Year eve and Chingay evening — access around Marina Bay becomes complicated.
Getting there
- MRT Bayfront station (CE1 / DT16). Exit B leads directly to the underground passage under the highway.
- Bus lines 400 and 133 stop at Marina Bay East.
- Taxi / ride-share can drop you at the Cloud Forest entrance or at the main visitor centre.
- On foot from Marina Bay Sands it is about 12 minutes via the Dragonfly Bridge.
What to wear and carry
- Light layer for the air-conditioned conservatories.
- Closed shoes for Cloud Forest — walkways get wet.
- Refillable water bottle: filling stations at each conservatory entrance.
- Hat and sun protection for the outdoor gardens.
Food inside
Two casual cafés inside the conservatories, plus a Peranakan restaurant and a bar near the Supertree Grove. If you want more choice, walk 10 minutes to Marina Bay Sands or Bayfront Avenue.
Photography
Tripods and monopods are allowed in outdoor areas only; inside the conservatories personal handheld cameras are fine. Drone flying is prohibited across all of Marina Bay.
Accessibility
The domes and skyway are wheelchair-accessible; both conservatories have lifts to all viewing levels. A limited number of wheelchairs are available to borrow at the ticket counter — request one on arrival.
